Das DFG-Projekt "Dissertationen Online" stellt sich vorDas Projekt "Dissertationen Online" finanziert von der deutschen Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) und ins Leben gerufen durch Betreiben der IUK Kommission der Fachgesellschften existiert seit Frühjahr 1998. Dabei arbeiten sieben Gruppen an sechs verschiedenen Standorten in einem interdisziplinären Forschungsverbund zusammen: die Deutsche Gesellschaft für Erziehungswissenschaft (DgfE), die Deutsche Mathematiker-Vereinigung (DMV), die Deutsche Physikalische Gellschaft (DPG), die Gesellschaft deutscher Chemiker (GDCH), die Niedersächsische Staats- und Universitätsbibliothek, die Deutsche Bibliothek (DDB) sowie das Rechenzentrum der Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Das Projekt wird von Prof.Peter Diepold von der Humboldt Universität zu Berlin geleitet. Ziel des Projektes ist es, Vorschläge für die Umstellung der Publikation von Dissertationen vom Papier in das digitale Netz auszuarbeiten. Zu dem bisherigen Angebot von "Dissertationen Online" gehören Vorschläge zur organisatorischen Umsetzung, Informationen zu rechtlichen Grundlagen und zur Änderung der Promotionsordnung, Empfehlungen zu Textformaten, Unterstützung für die Erhebung der Metadaten und die Bereitstellung von Schulungsmaterialien. In 4 Fortsetzungsartikeln soll auf die einzelnen Teilprojekte und deren inhaltliche Aspekte eingegangen werden. In diesem Heft wird zunächst eine Einführung in die Problematik und Konzeption des Projektes gegeben und dann das Teilprojekt Beratung und Unterstützung vorgestellt.B.I.T.online 2(1999) Nr. 4 |
The DFG-Project "Theses-Online" is being presentedThe project "Theses Online", sponsered by the German Research Foundation (DFG) and initiated by a subgroup within the Initiative for Information and Communication of the German Learned Societies ("IuK-Initiative"), started in spring 1998. Among the learned societies involved in the project are chemistry, computer science, education, mathematics, and physics, involving five German universities. Participants in the second proposal are also computing centers, libraries and the German National Library (DDB). The project is directed by Prof. Diepold of Humboldt University, Berlin. The aim of the project is to propose and develop models for the usage of new publishing technologies in order to retrieve an change within the publication habits of scientists from paper publications to the digital publications on the internet. Part of the present outcome created by "Theses Online" are proposals to the organization of workflows, informations about the juridical situation, recommendations for data-formats, support for the registration of metadata and the presentation of the access to teaching materials. Within 4 articles all the subprojects nd their reched results should be presented. Le Projet Ždissertations OnlineŽLe projet ŽDissertations OnlineŽfut initié en printemps 1998 par la Commission pour information et communication des sociétés spéciales (IUK) et est financé par la DFG (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft, Communauté Allemande de Recherche). Dans ce projet il y a des groupes de travail dans six universités qui collaborent dans un réseau interdisciplinaire de recherche; le directeur du projet est Professeur Peter Diepold de IŽUniversité Humbold á Berlin. Il est lóbjectif du projet dŽélaborer des propos pour le changement de la publication des dissertations sur papier dans une forme digitale. Dans le cadre du projet ŽDissertations OnlineŽil y a des propositions organisatoires, des informations concernant des questions juridiques ainsi que des modifications du réglement pour les dissertations, des recommendations pour le format des textes, un support pour la collection des metadates et la mise á disposition des matériaux déntrainment. Dans des contributions á suivre on va expliquer le contenu des projets partiels. Dans ce numéro on donne dábord une introduction dans les problémes et conception du projet et ensuite une introduction dans le projet partiel concernant consultation et support.B.I.T.online 2(1999) Nr. 4 |
