Web-Statistik - Potenziale und Grenzen
Im Bereich der "Web-Statistik" hat sich im Laufe der letzten
Jahre ein multidisziplinäres Forschungsumfeld entwickelt. Dies
reicht vom Einrichten und Auslesen der Web-Server-Statistiken, das
meist durch technisches Personal ausgeführt wird, bis hin zur
Erhebung und Analyse (Online-Research / Online Marktforschung)
eigener Daten im Internet oder Intranet durch Psychologen,
Wirtschafts- und Sozialwissenschaftler. Im einzelnen betrachtet
werden folgende thematischen Schwerpunkte:
1. Serverstatistiken / Kontaktmessung / Web-Mining
2. Nutzer, Technik, Content - als Gegenstand der Statistik
3. Online Research / Online Marktforschung
4. Statistik als Thema im Internet
Ziel des Beitrags ist es, die verschiedenen Ansätze in Theorie und
Praxis vorzustellen. Dabei geht es nicht nur um die Potenziale, die
Webstatistiken bieten, sondern auch um aktuelle Problem- und
Fragestellungen, die sich z.B. bei der Auswertung von
Serverstatistiken oder bei der Erstellung eigener netzbasierter
Untersuchungen ergeben.

Web statistics - potentials and limits
In the area of web statistics a multi-disciplinary research environment
has developed within the last years. This reaches from creating and
extracting web server statistics - which is generally done by the
technical staff - to elevating and analyzing own data in the internet
or intranet by psychologists, economists and sociologists (online
research, online marketing research) Following main points are
treated in detail:
1. server statistics, contact measurement, web mining
2. users, techniques, content - as a subject of the statistics
3. online research / online marketing research
4. statistics as a subject in the internet
The goal of this article is to present the different approaches in theory
and praxis. This does not only concern the potential offered by web
statistics, but also current problems and questions arising with the
evaluation of server statistics or with the creation of own net-based
studies.

multidisciplinaire s'est développé dans le cours des
années dernières. Cela comprend créer et
extraire des statistiques des serveurs web - un travail généralement
exécuté par le personnel technique - jusqu'à
élever et à analyser les propres données dans
l'internet ou l'intranet par des psychologues, des économistes
ou des sociologues (recherche online / étude de marché
