Die Einführung von
Libero in Sachsen
Im Jahr 2000 ist für elf Hochschulbibliotheken des Freistaates Sachsen ein neues Bibliotheks-
informationssystem ausgewählt worden. Der
Entscheidungsprozess wurde durch die "Sächsische
Landesbibliothek - Staats- und Universitätsbibliothek
Dresden“ (SLUB) durchgeführt. Der Ablauf und die
Randbedingungen des Auswahlprozesses werden im ersten Teil dieses
Beitrages dargestellt. Zur Entscheidung führten die
umfangreichen bibliothekarischen Funktionalitäten von LIBERO und
der Nachweis der Performance in universitärer Umgebung. Die
Darstellung der praktischen Migrationspfade und -entscheidungen der
SLUB zum System LIBERO, das im Dezember 2001 erfolgreich
implementiert war, bildet den zweiten Schwerpunkt des Beitrages. Die
praktischen Erfahrungen und Entscheidungen der SLUB sind Grundlage
der Implementierung in den anderen sächsischen Bibliotheken,
deren Projektstatus im Oktober 2002 am Ende dieses Beitrages
zusammengefasst wird.

The process of introducing the LIBERO-software in the Saxon State
In 2000 a new library information
system for eleven university libraries of Saxon was selected. The
process of selection was led and realized by the "Saxon State
Library" (SLUB) in Dresden. History and special conditions of
the selection process are discussed in the first part of this
article. The decision for LIBERO was preferred because of the
voluminous functionality for library automation and evidence of
system performance demonstrated in an university environment. Some
practical experience, migration path and special decisions of
implementing LIBERO at the Saxon State Library, which started LIBERO
in December 2001, are described in the second part. Practical
experiences and decisions of the Saxon State Library are the basis of
the implementations in other saxon libraries. A short summary of
implementing LIBERO at the saxon university libraries in October 2002
closes the article.

L'introduction de LIBERO en Saxe
C'était en l'an 2000 qu'un nouveau système d'information
fut choisi pour les once bibliothèques universitaires dans
l'État Libre de Saxe. La procédure de sélection
était dans les mains de la Saechsische Landesbibliothek und
Universitaetsbibliothek Dresden (SLUB). La première partie de
cet article est consacrée à la procedure et les
conditions marginales de la sélection. Les importantes
fonctionnabilitées bibliothécaires de LIBERO et la
preuve de son effectivité dans un environnement universitaires
étaient important pour la décision. La deuxième
partie de l'article s'occupe des dètails des
décisions de la SLUB pour le système LIBERO, qui enfin
fut installé en décembre 2001. Les expériences
et les décisions de la SLUB sont la base pour l'installation
de ce système d'information dans les autres
bibliothèques universitaires en Saxe, dont l'état
de projet en octobre 2002 est documenté.
