Zwölf Studierende des Studiengangs Bibliotheks- und Informationsmanagement der Hochschule der Medien in Stuttgart entwickelten ein Online-Wissens-Portal mit dem Schwerpunkt Informationswesen. Ziel des Projekts ist es, eine ausbaufähige Online-Plattform aufzubauen, die Informationsspezialisten einen kommunikativen Ort der Informationsbeschaffung und fachlichen Diskussion bietet. Bezugnehmend auf die aktuelle Thematik des Web 2.0 und der kollektiven Intelligenz, stellt das B.I.T.Wiki so eine zeitgemäße Möglichkeit dar, Beiträge rund um das Informationswesen der Fachöffentlichkeit zugänglich zu machen. Alle Spezialisten aus dem Informationssektor sind aufgerufen, andere an ihrem Wissen teilhaben zu lassen und am Aufbau des Portals aktiv mitzuarbeiten. B.I.T.online 10(2007) Nr. 3

Twelve students, majoring in Library and Information Management, at Stuttgart Media University (Hochschule der Medien Stuttgart) put into practice an online knowledge portal with a focus on the world of information. The aim of this project is to put up an upgradable online platform for information specialists for promoting specialised communication and information gathering. Referring to the actual Web 2.0 topic and the collective intelligence, the B.I.T.Wiki represents an up-to-date possibility to provide access for information specialists to contributions from the world of information. Douze étudiants en management des bibliothèques et de l'information de l'Université des Media à Stuttgart ont dévélopés un portail de science en ligne, accentué sur l'information. L'objective du projet est d'établir une platforme qui offrira un lieu communicatif aménageable par les spécialistes d'information et de la discussion professionnelle. En fatsant référence de la domaine du Web 2.0 et à l'intelligence collective, le B.I.T.Wiki représentera la possibilité de rendre accessibe des contributions de la domaine de l'information aux specialistes.
