Die Medizinische Fakultät Mannheim der Universität Heidelberg hat für die Beschäftigten und Studierende eine Abrechnungs- und Follow-Print-Lösung eingeführt, bei der es mittels der Bibliotheksbenutzerkarte (in dem Fall ein Barcodeausweis) möglich ist, abgesendete Druckjobs an einem Drucker abzurufen. Dabei stellt die Bibliothek einen zentralen Anlaufpunkt für die Studierenden dar. Die Hauptanforderung an das System war, dass es sich nahtlos in die bestehende Umgebung integriert und keine Insellösung ist. So sollte der von der Bibliothek ausgegebene Barcodeausweis weiter verwendet werden können und die Benutzerdaten sollten nach wie vor vom Bibliothekssystem erfasst und als regelmäßiger Export dem Drucksystem zur Verfügung gestellt werden. The Medical Faculty Mannheim of the University of Heidelberg has established an accounting and follow-print solution for their students and employees. Print jobs are directed to one of several printers within a network after the user presented his identity card to the reader of the requested printer. The library of the faculty of medicine is the main contact point for students not only for purposes of literature procurement but also for performing print tasks. The main requirement towards the follow-print system was integration into the existing library management system and its user data. User data and user identity card are managed by the library management system, providing scheduled export data to the follow-print system. B.I.T.online 11(2008) Nr. 1

La faculté de Médecine Mannheim de l' Université Heidelberg a introduit une solution d' imprimante "follow print" au service de ses étudiants et employés. Une de plusieurs imprimantes d'un réseau est mise en marche par passant au code-barre du badge de la bibliothèque devant le lecteur de l' imprimante choisie. La bibliothèque est l' interlocuteur le plus important concernant les tâches d' imprimer. La demande principale était que le système dirigeant la destination de l' impression soit apte de s' intégrer dans le cadre du système existant. Cette demande veut dire que le badge au code-barre de la bibliothèque doive être aussi le moyen d' identification pour le système dirigeant la destination d' impression et que les données des utilisateurs soient administrées par le système de la bibliothèque.
