Das DIS Dokumentation- und InformationsService ist ein österreichischer Beitrag zur Europäischen Digitalen Bibliothek (EDL). Im Projekt werden vernetzte Dienstleistungen im Rahmen der Forderung i2010 der Europäischen Union erbracht. DIS organisiert die Einbringung der österreichischen Daten aus Kultur- und Wissenschaftseinrichtungen in das im Juni 2008 startende EU-Projekt EDLocal, das bis 2011 die Integration der lokalen und regionalen Datenbestände in das Portal von EDL „EUROPEANA“ vorsieht. The DIS Documentation and Information Service - an Austrian contribution to the European Digital Library

The DIS Documentation and Information Service constitutes an Austrian contribution to the European Digital Library (EDL). The project implements networked services in accordance with the i2010 directive of the European Union. DIS organizes the import of data from Austrian cultural heritage and science institutions to the EU-Project EDLocal which will start in June 2008. EDLocal will coordinate the integration of local and regional digital content into the joint EDL portal „EUROPEANA”. B.I.T.online 11(2008) Nr. 3

Le Projet DIS – une contribution autrichienne à la bibliothèque numérique européenne

Le Service de documentation et d’information DIS constitue une contribution autrichienne à la Bibliothèque numérique européenne (EDL). Ce projet fournit des prestations de service en réseau dans le cadre de la directive i2010 de l’Union européenne. Le DIS fait entrer les données des institutions culturelles et scientifiques autrichiennes dans le Projet de l’UE EDlocal commencé en juin 2008 et qui prévoit l’intégration des données emmagasinées aux niveaux local et régional dans le portail « EUROPEANA » de l’EDL.
