World Scientific Platform Now Available for Orders through the ProQuest® OASIS® System

ProQuest continues to offer additional choices to meet libraries’ ebook needs

ProQuest has joined forces with yet another major publisher group – World Scientific – to provide libraries with even more choices for purchasing ebooks though the OASIS® system. This collaboration is the latest in a series between ProQuest and a number of sought-after publishers.

The OASIS system provides end-to-end acquisition workflow support to the market’s largest selection of ebooks. More than 1.7 million titles are available via the Ebook Central®, EBL™, ebrary®, MyiLibrary®, EBSCO®, Wiley®, IGI Global™ and Oxford University Press® publisher platforms – and now the World Scientific™ ebook platform.

With the addition of the World Scientific platform, customers may choose from more than 6,000 titles from the largest international scientific publisher in the Asia-Pacific region. “Providing customers with the power to purchase ebooks from any platform or publisher is our priority,” said Kevin Sayar, Senior Vice President and General Manager, ProQuest Books. “Through partnerships like this with World Scientific, we are able to offer more and more options for libraries to acquire ebooks according to their needs and preferences.”

“World Scientific is committed to publishing high-quality academic content for researchers, students and faculty in STM,” said Max Phua, Managing Director of World Scientific. “Through this collaboration with our new channel partner, OASIS, we are furthering this commitment, to widen the options available for libraries so that they may more efficiently discover and source for our titles.”
