OCLC Research and euroCRIS announce strategic partnership

OCLC Research and euroCRIS, the international organization for research information, announce a strategic partnership to recognize and understand international research information management practices through collaborative research. The two organizations signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) earlier this year.

Research information management (RIM) is the aggregation, curation, and utilization of information about research and is emerging as an area of increasing interest and relevance in many university libraries. RIMs, also broadly known as Current Research Information Systems (CRISs), are gaining interest and attention worldwide for their contribution in dealing with new policies on open science, research funding, and national assessment.
