Brill Ebooks Now Available in the OASIS® and Rialto™ Marketplaces

Through ProQuest, librarians can acquire 19,000 scholarly titles
focused on the humanities, social sciences, international law and more.

Librarians can now acquire titles from a collection of more than 19,000 sought-after Brill ebooks through the OASIS and Rialto marketplaces.

Founded in 1683, Brill is a scholarly publisher with a rich history and a strong international focus. Brill’s publications cover the humanities, social sciences, international law and selected areas in the sciences. They also include the imprints Nijhoff, Rodopi, Hes & De Graaf and Hotei Publishing.

“We are delighted to be able to offer librarians more options when ordering Brill ebooks,” said Focko van Berckelaer, Vice President of Global Sales at Brill. “Working with OASIS and Rialto enables us to integrate Brill ebooks into the collection development and acquisition workflows of our institutional library customers around the world.”

“Easy access to digital content is more critical than ever before as libraries strive to support remote research, teaching and learning,” said Audrey Marcus, Vice President, Books Product & Operations at ProQuest. “That’s why we are pleased to add Brill, a highly sought-after publisher, for ordering through OASIS and Rialto.”

Brill is one of many publisher-direct options available for acquisition on the ProQuest OASIS online ordering platform long used by librarians to select and acquire academic content, and the Rialto next-generation marketplace built to unify and streamline selection and acquisition workflows for academic libraries. Librarians can choose ebooks and streaming video from a rapidly growing number of platforms within their usual ordering workflow.
