Swets Americas President elected Vice-Chair of ASA

Swets is proud to announce that Jose Luis Andrade, President of Swets Americas has been elected Vice-Chair of the Association of Subscription Agents & Intermediaries (ASA). Andrade will serve a term of two years and brings extensive industry knowledge and twenty-two years of experience in the information technology field.

“I’m honored to be elected as Vice-Chair of the ASA and serve alongside such knowledgeable leaders in the business,” said Andrade. “I look forward to doing my part to uphold ASA’s commitment of excellence in serving all facets of the information industry.”

Along with serving as Vice-Chair of ASA, Andrade is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Friends of the National Library of Medicine and regularly contributes presentations and speeches to various publications and related industry forums. He is also a member of the Special Libraries Association, American Library Association, Medical Library Association and the North American Serials Interest Group.

It was also announced at the Annual General Meeting of the Association in Frankfurt, that Elizabeth T. Just, Business Development Manager at Swets, was reelected as a member of the Executive Board. Just is a key player in Swets’ ability to not only serve libraries but also publishers as a member of Swets’ Global Commercial Publisher Organization. Just has been elected to serve a term of one year.
