ProQuest Enhances Discovery of Global ‘Calls for Papers’ with Pivot® Service

Researchers can easily identify publishing opportunities at conferences and within special journal issues

Through a new addition to its Pivot® service, ProQuest is further simplifying the workflow of researchers by integrating funding and publishing opportunities into one easy-to-use environment. The Papers Invited® database, a comprehensive collection of calls for papers issued by professional bodies, journal editors and other conference organizers in all academic disciplines, is now available via Pivot.

Subscribers using the ‘Calls for Papers’ feature can search papers by keywords, event dates, time periods, country, type, conference or periodical. Researchers benefit from seeing what other researchers are doing, in addition to discovering funding opportunities available to them in Pivot. Pivot enables researchers, faculty and administrators to easily explore new avenues for funding, view funding opportunities uniquely matched to their scholar profile, collaborate with colleagues and manage the results of the process to build a funding strategy that supports immediate and long-term funding needs.
