Minesoft launch a new global case law information service with PatBase,
in collaboration with Darts-ip

PatBase, the leading searchable global database of patents, utility models and designs co-produced by RWS PLC and Minesoft, has now been enhanced by the extensive Darts-ip collection of patent/IP litigation data. Basic litigation information will be shown within the PatBase legal status browser with more detailed disclosures available through a direct link to the rapidly growing global Darts-ip case law database.

This new partnership offers IP search professionals and IP lawyers an excellent way to locate, track and view the complex area of litigation within the IP landscape. Users can search and view well-organised, extensive bibliographic, legal status and full-text patent data from over 100 countries, alongside unique case law data – accessing patent validity status, ongoing litigation, party’s aggressiveness – via one unique, detailed search platform designed for Intellectual Property experts.

“Thanks to this new partnership with Darts-ip, PatBase users will be able to more easily access often hard-to find litigation data, complementing the comprehensive legal status module already available on the platform.” Says Olivier Huc, Senior Business Development Manager at Minesoft. “We look forward to a continued collaboration with Darts-IP. We highly respect how hard they’ve worked to compile this remarkable database from a variety of international sources.”

"The launch of this partnership gives more patent professionals access to our unique prosecution and litigation data.” Says Mihnea Hanganu, Head of Data and Analytics at Darts-ip. “Whether they are in the process of applying for a patent, conducting an FTO search or drafting a competitive intelligence report, PatBase users will be able to leverage global data on prosecution and litigation."

Minesoft offers an array of products for the patent information industry, specialising in patent searching, IP document retrieval, patent analytics and competitive intelligence systems. Minesoft was awarded the prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise in 2009 and again in 2015 for its impressive, sustained growth in International Trade. A testament to the company’s ongoing innovation and work to meet the needs of its fast-growing global client base through an international customer support network, tailored training and a range of essential resources.

Darts-ip provides global information and analytics that support IP prosecution and litigation activities. Through our platform, IP professionals gain unparalleled insights into IP rights, companies, jurisdictions, legal topics and market trends. Darts-ip users can quickly search and track more than 4 million cases covering trademarks, patents, copyrights, designs & models, domain names, and unfair competition.
